I’m Ericka. With over 20 years of experience as a teacher of the visually impaired, I am deeply committed to empowering individuals with vision loss to achieve independence and success. As a certified specialist in Orientation and Mobility and a seasoned expert in assistive technology for the blind, I bring a unique blend of expertise and passion to my work. I also hold a certificate in instructional design, which allows me to create customized, effective learning experiences tailored to my student’s and client‘s needs. In addition to teaching, I run YouTube channels dedicated to sharing resources and tips for accessibility and technology. Currently, I am a contractor with the Department of Rehabilitation and MAT, where I teach technology skills. I provide orientation and mobility training to blind adults through the Division of rehabilitation Services, helping them navigate their world with confidence. My mission is to combine my skills and experience to make education and technology more accessible for the blind and sighted community.
